课程开发：优质远程教育的基础
——联合国教科文组织远程教育教席系列国际研修班述评

【摘要】课程的设计与开发历来都是开放与远程学习的重要组成部分。而且,随着远程教育的发展，课程开发也不断呈现出新的特色，如网络课程、电子学习内容等的涌现。基于此，联合国教科文组织远程教育教席系列国际研修班的首期“品牌课程开发案例分析”于10月2225日在上海召开。本文概括和总结了本期研修班的主要内容，期望能对远程课程的设计与开发的理论研究与实践有所启发。

Course Development: Foundation of Quality Distance Education
——Review of UNESCO Chair’s Serial of International Training Workshops

Abstract: Course design and development is one of the important part of open and distance learning. With the development of distance education, course design and development presents new characteristics, such as the appearance of web-based course, elearning contents. 2005: Case Studies of Quality Curriculum Design and Development in Selected Subject Areas in ODL, which is the first issue of UNESCO Chair's Serial of International Training Workshops, was hold on Oct. 22-25, 2005 in Shanghai. The paper summarized the main contents of the workshop that would enlighten the research and practice in the design and development of distance courses.
