我国教育投资和经济增长关系的实证分析

【摘要】近年来,“教育产业化”已成为一个热门话题。对此,教育界、经济学家、政府官员等社会各界人士仁者见仁、智者见智,有学者提出用教育促进消费、拉动内需、推动经济发展的观点。然而,教育投资与经济增长的关系究竟如何呢?针对这一问题,笔者建立了一系列统计模型进行实证分析,并得出短期内扩大教育投资对经济增长不产生作用的这一结论。

Abstract: Recently,it has been a very popular topic that education can also be industrialized. However, different domain has different opinions on this question. Some experts suggest that we should promote consumption and economic growth through education. So what is the real relationship between education investment and economic growth? This paper provides an empirical analysis using a series of statistical models, and draws a conclusion that the shortterm increase of education investment has no effect on economic growth.
