高校人文社会科学之研究效率及趋势^*

【摘要】本文运用数据包络分析(DEA)方法对2000～2003年期间教育部直属68所高校人文社会科学研究效率及其发展趋势进行了评价，研究发现人文社会科学研究效率呈逐年递增趋势，但总体水平还有待提高。根据评价结果，本文从纯技术效率和规模效率两方面探讨了高校人文社会科学研究效率低下的原因,并进一步提出提高高校人文社会科学研究效率的政策建议。

　Social Scientific Research Efficiency of Universities Directly  

Under the Ministry of Education of P.R.China and Its Trend

Abstract: This paper employs Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to evaluate social scientific research efficiency of 68 universities directly under the Ministry of Education of P.R.China from the year 2000 to 2003 and it's trend. The findings indicate that the social scientific research efficiency increases by year, but the general level of efficiency should be further improved. According to the results, the reasons of low efficiency in social scientific research of some universities are inquired from two dimensions, PTE(pure technical efficiency) and SE(scale efficiency) and some policy suggestions to improve the efficiency are put forward.
