远程教育与信息通信技术的能为与不能为

——“2010非洲国家高级教育官员研修班暨开放远程教育国际大讲堂”述评

    【摘要】2010年5月21～23日，值上海电视大学成立50周年之际，“2010非洲国家高级教育官员研修班暨开放远程教育国际大讲堂”在上海电视大学国顺路校区召开。会议邀请了国际开放与远程教育领域知名专家、政策制定者、实践者等一起参与讨论开放远程教育的未来发展。因此，笔者围绕远程教育与信息通信技术在教育中的应用这一核心主题，从教育发展新动态、实践创新、思想引领、关注非洲、UNESCO在行动等五方面详尽地介绍了本次研修班的实况，并反思了远程教育与信息通信技术在教育中应用的潜力和问题。

——Review of “2010 Open and Distance Education Workshop for Senior Policy

Makers in Africa and International Symposium on Open and Distance Education”

Abstract: On the occasion of the 50th anniversary, Shanghai TV University organized “2010 Open and Distance Education Workshop for Senior Policy Makers in Africa and International Symposium on Open and Distance Education ” to celebrate this event on May 2123, 2010. World reknowned experts, key policy makers and practicers in ODL were invited together to discuss the new prospects and trends of ODL's future. The author focused on distance education and ICTs in education, and reviewed the new dynamics of educaiton, practical innovations, thought to lead, priority to Africa, UNESCO’s initiatives based on the workshop and symposium.
